Here is a compiled list of general town rules we expect members who live in groups to follow! We hope this clears up any questions you may have about towns!
Here you can find the global rules regarding towns on the Fairytales SMP! These rules are applicable for any town, village, nation or other that hosts multiple members. The reason these rules exist is to minimise the amount of drama as much as possible because it's difficult for staff to deal with and also we don't want players feeling left out. Breaking or not following the rules will result in staff having to step in and punishments may be dealt accordingly. Just have fun and don't be stinky and you will be fine :)
Global Town Rules
Every town must have a public town board that displays all of the members of the town's player names and personal town boundaries/guidelines (build theme, claim sizes etc). Members must add their own name. When someone’s name is on the board they have full build perms in the area and only they can remove their name. Once someone has joined, there is to be no forcing anyone out. Members must leave of their own free will. This is to ensure that members do not feel pushed or singled out. So.. be careful who you invite! Staff won't force someone to move.
If you set personal boundaries or rules for your town, know that the Fairytales staff team cannot enforce them if one of your town members breaks them. This is because well.. staff can't enforce them if they aren't our rules! Your town must follow the global Fairytales Town Rules that you are currently reading - only breaches of these rules we will help resolve.
No negative hierarchy. Fairytales is for everyone! Make decisions together - not as overarching leaders.
No wars (unless both parties mutually agree and it is not negative and just for fun - wars must stop when a party no longer wishes to participate), no drama. Resolve things in a calm and collected way. Disputes or arguments that do not immediately break Fairytale's Rules must be resolved between the participants, privately. Meaning not in the public server chat to bother other members. It is also not the staff's responsibility to get involved in civil issues. We get arguments are tough to resolve - but it's even tougher to expect staff to resolve them when we don't know the ins-and-outs of things and we also don't know you very well!!
Staff will only help you with resolving issues in your town if: - The incident or members reported are breaking the main Fairytales Rules or Global Town Rules.
