Fairytales is a Java edition server that allows Bedrock connections. There are many inconsistencies between the 2 game versions that may make some of our server features not efficiently work on Bedrock edition. Some of these differences can be fixed, others cannot. Here, you will find a list of the currently observed Bedrock limitations on Fairytales.

• Clickable links in chat will not work.

• Distinguishing between left and right clicks within inventories is impossible. Which means some menu options like setting your homes public will not work.

• Not all banner patterns that exist in Bedrock edition exist on Java so some are not present.

• There is glitches when walking around bamboo due to offset differences between Java and Bedrock edition.

• You cannot move mounted entities with a carrot/warped fungus on a stick.

• Custom stonecutter recipes do not work as intended. Which means our log cutter recipes will not work entirely correct.

• Invisible item frames are not possible on Bedrock edition.

• The glowing effect does not exist on Bedrock edition.

• Saddled camels are unrideable on Bedrock.

• Some fence states within server regions will not show correctly due to debug sticks not updating the fence state for Bedrock players.

• Some particle effects on Bedrock edition do not show correctly (some may fall instead of staying put). This means that some of our particle cosmetics such as wings will not show the same as they do on Java.

• Spectral arrows have no texture.

• Resource pack items are smaller in your hand.

• Rainbow bow, Flower Bow, Shadow Bow, Bee Bow and Mushroom Bow animation does not exist.

• Text Displays and Item Displays do not exist on Bedrock edition so holograms will appear differently to Bedrock players than they do to Java.

• Bedrock players may struggle to rename their follower pets within the /followers menu. But, you can do /followers rename namehere instead!

• Some new 1.21 particle effects (included in fairydust trails).

• Monarch elytra flight ability will not work.

• Changing your player size to be smaller may result in a warped POV.
